MEET DR STEYN
Dr Carien Steyn is an HPCSA-registered Family Physician who completed her specialisation at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University. She worked as a medical specialist in the public sector, where she was involved in under- and postgraduate training, in addition to her clinical duties. She is a published author in several journals, and she has practice experience in the private sector.
Dr Carien is part of the team who assesses and manages chronic pain. She believes in the interdisciplinary approach in collaboration with the patient, to achieve the best physical, psychological, and social outcomes for everyone.
