Multidisciplinary care for people living with chronic pain

At the Pain Collective, we provide multidisciplinary pain management services through a network of clinics across South Africa.

Our interdisciplinary team of doctors and therapists uses therapy, medication, patient-centred modalities, and interventional procedures as part of pain management.

Our approach emphasises active, patient centred care and interventional strategies where appropriate.

As part of our commitment to transparency and ongoing quality improvement, we routinely collect anonymous patient experience feedback and publish summary results from our monthly internal service evaluation surveys.

97%* of patients who completed our anonymous monthly patient experience surveys reported being satisfied with their overall experience at our clinics.

92%* of patients who completed our anonymous patient experience surveys after a theatre procedure reported that the procedure met their expectations.

91%* of patients who completed our anonymous patient experience surveys reported that they felt the service represented good value for money.

85%* of patients reported that their doctor listened to them attentively, and 81% reported that their doctor explained information in a way they could understand, based on responses to our anonymous patient experience surveys.

88%* of patients who attended therapy services reported that the care they received from the therapist was excellent, based on responses to our anonymous patient experience surveys.

The  figures are based on routine, anonymous monthly patient experience surveys conducted for internal service evaluation and quality improvement. Survey responses reflect patient-reported experiences of care, communication, and service delivery. These data are not intended to represent clinical outcomes, treatment efficacy, or guarantees of results.
