WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR PHYSIOTHERAPY SESSION
Patients can expect a comfortable and safe environment where they are treated with the utmost respect. You do not need a referral from a doctor, as physiotherapists are first-line practitioners.
Initial Consultation and Follow-Up: First consultations last 1 hour, and subsequent follow-up sessions range from 45 minutes–1 hour. During the first visit, a thorough objective evaluation is conducted to gather a detailed history of pain behaviour, activity levels, and previous interventions.
Examination and Modalities: A physical examination follows – analysing movement, completing questionnaires, and performing specific hands-on testing. These results determine the appropriate treatment modalities or referrals, which may include:
• Hands-on therapy.
• Electrotherapy.
• Re-education of movement.
• Pain neuroscience education.
Bookings and Payments: Bookings can be made via WhatsApp, email, or telephone. Payment options include cash or EFT payments by the 15th of the month following the month of treatment. The practice is registered with all medical aids and can submit claims on behalf of patients.

The practice is qualified to manage a wide range of conditions – including chronic pain, orthopaedic, neurological, respiratory, and post-natal conditions.
Our special interests and continuous learning focus on two main areas:
• Chronic pain management: Including pain neuroscience education, hands-on treatment, electrotherapy, exercise prescription, neural mobilisation, and cupping.
• Orthopaedic conditions: Such as sports injuries and post-operative rehabilitation.
