The Pain Collective’s interdisciplinary team has been active in Paarl since 2005. In 2021, the unit relocated to the Val de Vie Estate – subsequently moving to the third purpose-built facility at 211 Main Road in Paarl.
The décor and position of the clinic reflect the calm assurance of the team of the healthcare providers – managing chronic pain with professional expertise.
Dr Izelle Taljaard, a general practitioner with an interest in pain, is the resident doctor at PAIN Winelands. The clinic features a large gym, a rehabilitation area, and a full interdisciplinary team – it also provides an aesthetic service.
Dr Taljaard utilises the ultramodern theatre facilities of Cure Day Hospitals Paarl – with access to the full spectrum of laboratory and radiology services available at Mediclinic Paarl – including a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare practitioners capable of managing a wide array of medical conditions.
